Floor mirror is also a beautiful element that can make the area looks wider and bigger. It may double the area. Floor mirror has many types and shapes also from simple and sleek design like frame-less concept to the artistic one like those that framed by carving frames.
Floor mirrors usually mounted on swivel which is called cheval mirrors. This type of floor mirror can be tilted to any direction we want. A cheval style will be perfectly placed on walk-in-closets.
Moreover, when selecting the mirror, please be reminded that you must consider the size. It should be balance with the area dimension. If your home style or the room design is simple, choose the design with light frame.
It will be different if the area is big enough. You need to make it balance with big mirror to be attractive and easily get the people attention. Choose a solid frame to support the mirror’s weight.
With regard to the frame material, most of them are use wooden frame although we also can find those with golden or silver frame. Whichever your choice is, it depends on your budget and taste. Sometimes, a mirror with wooden frame is more expensive than those two.
Another important thing you should to know is the mirror placement. Needless to say that the floor mirror is also part of your home decoration, consequently, you must find a perfect place to put it on. That shouldn’t be surrounded with any home ornaments or furniture. Let it stand alone. Look for a better place for it and make sure that it is a “traffic” free area.
