We agree that bedroom is our private place and a place for recharging our energy after the whole day activities. It is the place where our day is ended.
We do agree too – based on the above reason – that our designer bedrooms should help us to have a good rest and comfortable. To support the required points above, we must design a room that can fulfill all what we need to be.
Once we enter our room, sometimes we do not directly end our activity. Some of us maybe have a light conversation with wife or husband or even with your friend. In addition, some of us doing another activity like reading a book or just browsing some website through mobiles or tablet.
To “fine-tune” the designer bedrooms with its function, we have to make proper selections for the furniture that can support the activities before and while you are sleeping. Regardless the size of the bedroom, it must be functional. For example, if you design a minimalist style, the furniture inside must be practical and yet still simple. Minimalist designer bedrooms only need the furniture that you use regularly only without any additional or unnecessary furniture. It also applies for your main room. The main concept is not the same with your guest or kid’s room.
The color choice is the first important step when designing the bedroom. Color can influence your mood and it can create a cozy atmosphere as well. Wrong choice will annoy your mood. Choose any natural color to make you more comfortable. Too bright or too dark will make your designer bedrooms look dull.
To create a harmony, select the furniture that match with your wall color. Inside the designer bedrooms, you need – generally – to have bed, small table, nightstands, dresser and wardrobe. If the space is big enough, then you can place a lazy chair.
The proper selection of the furniture will affect the bedroom style whether it is contemporary or old-fashioned styles. The important thing is never make the designer bedrooms look congested. Let the room freely breathes.
The last thing is about the lights. Generally, we use 3 spots to place the lam; one is the main light on the ceiling, 2 nightstands lamps, and one on dresser. Those are the general configuration you may apply. For nightstand lamp, you can use it for reading lamp too.
